Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Half Legs Sugaring.

Most clients enjoy smooth legs for three to six weeks, depending on hair growth cycles and maintenance. Regular sugaring can reduce regrowth and extend time between appointments. Touch-ups can be scheduled as needed to maintain results.

Clean, dry skin is ideal; avoid moisturizers, oils, or heavy lotions before your appointment. Trim if hair is very long and wear loose clothing afterward to prevent irritation, and arrive five minutes early.

Most clients report mild to moderate discomfort initially, but our trained technicians use gentle technique and temperature-controlled sugar. Numbing isn't usually necessary, and sensitivity decreases after repeat sessions. We'll adjust pressure and pace for comfort.

Ideally hair should be about a quarter to half an inch long so the sugar can grip and remove hairs effectively. If shorter, results may be less thorough. We can assess and advise at arrival.

Active sunburn, open wounds, certain rashes, or recent chemical peels can prevent service. Inform us of medications and skin conditions so we can determine safety and suggest alternatives when needed.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, exfoliating scrubs, and heavy creams for 24-48 hours. Apply a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer, wear breathable clothing, and exfoliate lightly after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs and schedule follow-up as advised.
